For collaboration and efficiency this tool allows educators to share documents in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Educators can make comments, make changes, and have a discussion regarding the document. Educators can upload documents from their own computers or create a document in the program.

Google Forms

Google forms are a tool through Google apps that helps you plan events, send surveys, give quizzes, and collect other information. When recipients respond to the form the information will automatically collect in a spreadsheet, which can then be downloaded to Excel for further analysis.

Google Sites

Google Sites is the easiest way to make information accessible to people who need quick, up-to-date access. People can work together on a Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa), and new free-form content.

Google Calendar 

Google Calendar is a great way to keep yourself organized with all your meetings, appointments, to-do’s, and happenings around school. You can have multiple calendars within your Google Calendar to easily separate the types of things you’ll do throughout the day. Groups can share calendars so that you don’t have to send/receive invitations. You can also embed a Google Calendar on your school’s website to share with your school community.

Google+ makes connecting on the web more like connecting in the real world. Share your thoughts, links and photos with the right circles. Use easy, spontaneous video chat to strike up conversations with as many as nine people at once. Get everyone on the same page with fast, simple group chat.

Google Group

A Google Group is a user-owned group created using the Google Groups service. Google Groups not only allows you to manage and archive your mailing list, but also provides a method for true communication and collaboration with group members.

Google translate is an online tool that will translate whole sentences for you in Spanish, English, and French as well as over 60 other languages. This website also will translate entire websites. This is a great tool to use with families that do not speak English. They can translate the school and districts web pages to another language or when you meet with them you can talk through Google translator.
